  1. I didn't like the fact that Edward became the second-best thing in her life (as Renemee/Nessie took over). That wrecked it for me. Edward and Bella were meant to be passionately in love together, and that changed, so I didn't like that part. I also didn't like it how Bella was always pressuring Edward for s*x. That wrecked my image of what I thought about Bella. Oh well, the book was ok.

  2. i liked the book

  3. i thought it was an interesting story plot with bella getting pregnant and all, but for some reason i didn't think that it seemed like the normal stephenie meyer writing style. it just seemed different for some reason, like it didnt seem like what she would write about

  4. It was awful. The story didn't flow, it was plotless. I had to force myself to finish it- it was that boring. The characters seemed different, SM contradicted herself (all of a sudden vamps can have kids), there was no conflict(Volturi fight!?), and I don't think Renesme should have been a part of the story at all. SM should have stopped at Eclipse and had her choose either, Jacob or Edward. Bella shouldn't of gotten both, thats what made me most mad about the whole series. Bella got EVERYTHING she wanted. The book just sucked, and I hated it.

  5. I loved it except for the jacob book. i wished that we would of heard bella's thoughts when she was pregnant

  6. not everyone doesnt like it :\

    i loved it too <3

  7. i loved it! what happened in that book was just a natural progression of what had happened in the other books. bella couldn't stay the teenager forever. someone before me said something about how there were so many loose ends and what jacob did was disgusting. first of all i think she tied up everything perfectly. how was bella and/or other characters supposed change or "character development"? they are vampires! stone, unchanging! it was perfect. as for jacob, hasn't she explained numerous times that it just isn't that way for them when they imprint? she's his world but that doesn't mean that he like lusts after her! at least not yet ;) if that person had really read the books she wouldn't have said anything like that. there were a few loose ends, but they were not important to the story. plus, she's probably going to be writing stories about some of the other characters now(the minor ones).

  8. I LOVED It! I have no idea what you're talking about when you say people don't like it. Everyone I know liked it! But, people here on Yahoo answers have contreversy. Whatever. I loved it!

  9. There were a lot of twists. I hated it at first--but then, when i researched online and read why people loved it, it got to me.

When I first finished the book, I was disgusted.

Most of the Twihards like myself basically wanted two things: For Bella to turn into a vampire, and for Edward and Bella to get it on. We weren't expecting all of these twists like Renesmee and the whole "Jacob" book.

I think we were mad because we expected less. Not more. So when all of these extra suprises are presented, we are overwhelmed.

All we need to do is give the angry people time. They'll all come to realize that we got exactly what we wanted after all.

  10. I loved it! I think that for some people, they made these images in their minds on how they wanted Breaking Dawn to turn out. I think that for some people it was a let-down because they expected something way bigger and better than what actually happened. But, in my opinion, it was worth the wait.

  11. -- There is no point to the book.

    -- There is no plot.

-- There is hardly any major conflict (WHAT kind of novel doesn't have conflict?!)

-- There is barely any character development.

-- Jake's ending was morally twisted and disgusting.

-- The conflicts from the past three books were either dropped completely or too easily resolved.

-- There was no climax; the end was anti-climatic. What kind of author builds up to a massive fight scene then doesn't have a single fight?

-- The characters didn't act like themselves.

    -- The writing sucked.'

-- There were SO many loose ends. It was fairly obvious that Smeyer did a terrible job at planning out her series.

-- It was choppy; Some parts dragged on while other parts went too quickly. It wasn't well balanced. This books was FAR too long. I don't object to long books, if length is necessary to said novel; but this book didn't need to be that long. It could have been condensed into 500 or 600 pages (maybe shorter!).

-- There were SO MANY plot holes. So many things didn't make sense.

-- Everything worked out too well. The first three books led us to believe becoming a vampire was a sacrifice; but what did Bella give up? Nothing, except being human. She got to keep Charlie, Jake, all of the Cullens, AND got to have a kid. She didn't lose ANYTHING she was "supposed" to lose by becoming a vampire. It was so lame. It wasn't a "happy ending"-- it was gratification. It was unrealistic and phony and stupid.

Basically, this book lacked everything I consider necessary within a novel in order for that novel to be considered "good". It lacks the qualities and characteristics of good writing, characters, and plots.

This book had potential. It could have been better.

  12. i didnt hate it but i thought it could be much better

  13. Yeah, I really liked it as well :) I just finished it actually.

  14. I loved it ! My friend didn't like it because there was no action - but I loved it ! It was deep , and sweet and by far my favorite of the series! Everyone is entitled to their own opinions though ;p

  15. I loved it too!

  16. Because I'm pretty sure its way too overrated and the incessant questions about it get annoying.
