Why do you hate the Turks this much?

Is it because they are Muslims? If it`s just for the EU issue, you can simply say no, but why all these insults???

in some areas(close to germany) turk population is very massive

so like latinos in america, armenians in italy or chinese in hawai, a part of the local population hate them... IT'S everywhere in the world the same...

i'm not saying that it's good, but it's just the way it is, there are some things nothing can be done about...

that's the way internet blogs are: only insults for everybody, but it isn't the reflect of reality; I don't feel there is hostility against the Turks here in France, they're just scared because it would be the first muslim country to enter the EU, and some people have a bad idea of Islam, they relate it to terrorists etc...personally I'm not against Turkey in EU.

Simply because Turkey is NOT located in europe, otherwise why not to include Russia , Iran and Irak into Europe to and what about Morocco ? The problem also is that Turkey ruled by the islamist with the army on back stage, the Turks also refused to admit that they have exterminated the Armenian population, and continue to persecuted the Christian and Kurdes communities .

Not everyone ...just the Greeks, Armenians,Kurds, Serbians for historic cruelties I guess.....plus some of them tend to be hotheaded--and some people won't put up with that...but I've also known some very nice ones.

The Turks waged aggressive war against the Christian West from the days of the Byzantine empire. Just what do you expect?

Even in the modern age, the massacre of the Armenians and the invasion of Cyprus are not reassuring.

While the Turkish Army has done a generally good job of upholding the modernizing and secularizing traditions of Kemal Ataturk (for whom I have the very highest admiration) there is a suspicion that Islamacists are gaining the upper hand.

The West, quite correctly, sees itself as in a war to preserve the liberal, secular, and  democratic traditions which have only recently finally triumphed in most of Europe against the attack of fanatic, primitive, religious maniacs of the Islamic world.  We remain unsure of which side of this struggle Turkey is on.
