most people have them for the s*x or for the companionship.  I have a fiance' because of the undying love and passion that we have for each other as well as the security that i feel when i'm with him.  he's my best friend, my lover, as well as my personal cheerleader as i am to him.  it's more than a physicial thing.  it's a mental and spiritual thing.

I don't need one. I am an independent person who is happy with who she is. If you get one to make you feel loved or better about yourself that is not good. Just make friends and when you do have a husband or boyfriend, it should be for companionship. These people should make you feel happy and comfortable. This can be a lot like having a best friend. It can be nice to have someone around as long as you get as much of your own time as you need as well.
