Why do you have nightmares when you sleep with a fever?

Why does it happen that you get a very upset sleep if you sleep with a fever?

Well, I know that when you eat right before bed, or are cold in your  sleep, your body is still active in someway. WHen you sleep, your body is supposed to be completely unactive except for your lungs, heart, and brain. When you have a fever, as you know brings up your body tempature goes up, and that activates part of your body.

I hope this helps. This was a hypotheses, lol!

When you have a fever, the body is not at rest, it is fighting an infection.
