Why do you have random black dots on your skin?

What is the point? Why do you get a random blacks dot in some parts of your skin?

Sometimes things happen to the skin. Pores can get clogged easily, and the larger the pore the easier it is to clog. About nine months ago, give or take, I had a black dot on my breast. It scared the c**p out of me. Especially considering my grandmother died of breast cancer, you automatically assumee the worst.

I never went to the doctor for it, because I didn't want them to tell me I was dying [oh how smart I am] - instead I eventually got sick of having it [I picked at it for a month or two] and I dug and picked at it til it came out. Voila. No more black spot.  I'm a genius, no? I think it was just dirt or something cause after I picked it out I cleaned it and all was fine...so far, anyway.
