Why do you have to be 21 to legally gamble and drink?

What is wrong with 18 because at 18 you are considered an adult and you have to pay taxes vote have a job join army ect. So why the h**l cant you drink or gamble in USA? If the reason is danger well then it makes no sense because your more likely to get blown up and killed.

.   Have you read the newspapers.  A lot of college presidents want to change the law to 18.  No reason to make criminals of all the 18 year olds who are going to drink anyway.

Only 18 year olds think they're adults.

Democrats dropped the voting age to 18 because they know uneducated, irrational, inexperienced, emotional kiddies will tend to lean toward liberal candidates with their heart string tugging ideas.

In CA the Jackson Rancheria Casino is 18 & over but they don't have alcohol.
