Does heated superglue release fumes, or does superglue burn easilly? I'm talking about dried, hardened superglue. Why do you have to keep superglue away from flames?

  1. because it is highly flammable.

  2. Superglue is Cyanoacrylate. When heated to high enough temp. it releases Cyanide gas.

Worked in electronics  for many years, sometimes wires were glued with superglue and used a soldering iron to remove. One time I got a good wiff of the fumes, painful.
