  1. WHEN YOU SNAP YOUR WRIST IT GOES STRAIGHT DOWN IF U DON'T THEN IT'LL GO OUT OF BOUNDS AND WON'T BE A DIG

  2. It causes your hand to move faster than just your swinging arm and adds speed to the ball upon contact. It's like a golfer or baseball batter when they "break" their wrist just before the moment of impact. It adds speed to the ball.

  3. It causes a downward spin on the ball to land in the court and not 20 ft out.

  4. It causes backspin.

  5. snapping the wrist causes the ball to move downward and may cause a good spiking sound (i really like hearing those sound) if you don't the ball will just move in a projectile motion that will cause the other team to easily handle the ball and there's no pretty sound.. get it? hihi

  6. You also have a greater chance of getting called for a carry if you don't snap
