I have noticed that you hear the small birds , like cardinals, robins in the Spring, and after June it becomes quiet and then you hear the crows, etc after midsummer.

how come this is you think?

and what happens to the birds you hear in the Spring?

why and how is this?

Thanks for your answers!

  1. The reason you hear the small birds is that they are right outside our houses as they sing to locate mates. They also make a lot of noise when the babies fledge and are out of the nest. They make a begging noise so their parents can find them and feed them.

The Crows make noise in the spring but you need to be near their nest to hear it. In the late summer, fall and winter, crows flock. It is easier to hear a crow when he has a dozen or more of his friends to holler at. The West Nile Virus hit the crows heavy in our area. They are making a comeback though

  2. The crows eat all the little birdies then sing about it
