Why do you like/hate Cm Punk?

i have noticed alot of people dont like him so i was wondering why?

I don't know it is hard to say. I don't like the CM Punk that I see now in WWE. Its cool he is champ and all but I just don't like the image he has now. Where are all his high flying moves?

i LIKED the CM PUNK I saw back in the days of ROH and MLW. That was him at his best

People dont like him because he is a them World Heavyweight Champion.  Thats the only reason.  Everyone thinks hes overrated and won the title way too soon.

I like him for his ability to go sober for the rest of his life.  A lotta respect to him for that.

You know sometimes i think the Championship belt is curse, the ones that have it around the waist will automatically be scorned.  Sometimes the US title ro the IC is better to hold.

I like him. He is a great wrestler. And he really does deserve the WHC, sometimes when people say he doesn't deserve it, that gets me really pissed. When he was in ROH he was amazing and awesome, you should look at some matches online. I think that WWE isn't using him right, I think it would be pretty awesome fo rhim to hold the WHC for a little more time. =]

I like CM Punk he is a mid card to upper mid card wrestler. Sure he hasnt exactly reached the main event status yet but there is still time for him to get better. I like him because he's straightedge. He doesnt do drugs, drink, smoke, or anything bad. And I respect that. Also his moves r pretty cool.

well i like cm punk because he doesnt do any drugs because most wrestlers do them. (steriods) Also, he is good but i know i can see him do better in the ring. he just needs to train a little bit more to become better and so people can just stop pikin on him cause they think he sucks. I like punk.I think he sends a good message that you don't have to be all jacked up to be successful.He's a hard worker,he's got great charisma.I think punk earned his world title.He was a great ecw champion,and I don't get why people have turned on him.He's talented,he can carry a good match.

I like him because I think he actually is a good wrestler. He had a lot of awesome moves before getting into WWE, but they limited his moveset ALOT.

I also respect him 100% because of his straightedge lifestyle. It's gotta be hard getting into a ring with 17,000 people and being booed for refusing to drink.

Props to Punk for that. Alot of people just think the Straightedge thing is a gimmick, but it's actually his whole life

From my experience, I've noticed people say they don't like him because they don't think he's world title material. I think WWE gave him a chance and he did a great job. I think he IS in fact world title material and he's been having a good title reign.

i dont like him for this reason. he was AWESOME on the independent circuit, i saw him many times on the indys. when he got signed to WWE, he started gettin sloppy in the ring, and he was boring. its like he busted his *** to get to the top, then got lazy and didnt care after he made it

That's a very good question.  I have not been his biggest fan or anything, but I have enjoyed his matches.  I like that he not the same as everyone else...that he stands out with his look and his character.  He brought a devastating finisher to WWE in the GTS.  I really like the fact that his character and gimmick are who he really is, and weren't  changed by WWE once they brought him up.  He has a loyal cult following form what I've read and I'm beginning to see why.  I wish he would unveil a lot of the moves he once used in ROH.  Did you ever see The Pepsi Plunge?  It's awesome.  He has ideals and sticks to them.  He does not compromise himself for personal gain.  I respect that a great deal.

I liked him better in ROH, his run in the Second City Saints was my favorite. I have never been happy the way WWE has used him thus far.

His current WHC title reign is starting to make Rey Mysterio's run look like a complete success. At least Rey had a ppv clean win over JBL, somehow I don't think Punk will get a clean win this Sunday.
