Why do you like your GPS system? What's the greatest feature?

I'm doing a marketing project for school, and am looking for insight.

do you have a good story that involves your GPS?

GPS? I like about it almost everything. I can even go anywhere that I've never been before without worrying about being lost. I cant imagine how it can recieve the information from the sky and access almost everything single place that I want to go. It also can find the nearest cheapest gas on my location. My gps also has mp3 and video built. I can listen to music while I'm using gps. I can also watch movies when I don't use the gps. I just like let it hang into car all the time when I'm on to go.

GPS is great when it works but if you rely on it alone you can end up in trouble.

Beware of buying dodgy maps on SD chip. I bought map of Western Europe for my Tom Tom One XL on ebay cos I was going to Italy for my holidays.  It worked okay in UK.

When I got to Naples and got in the hire car I switched on the Tom Tom and it switched over to map of Western Europe then came up with error screen and refused to work at all.

So there I was stuck in middle of Naples with no Sat nav and not even a map and 100 km to drive at 11pm.  Was not a pleasant experience, considering totally mental Italian drivers and millions of scooters and me driving with no idea where I was going, but it serves me right I guess.

Motto: Always have a back up.

I have a Garmin nuvi...not sure of the number. I don't have a particular story, but so far it's worked great and it's really easy to find restaurants, gas stations, etc. in the area, as well as places you know the address for.
