Why do you look differently in each mirror you look in?

How do you really know what you look like to other people if the image you see in each mirror is different?

  1. Unless they are damaged, tinted, or trick mirrors, you don't.  If you try them all in the same place at the same time with the same lighting, you'll look just the same.  Try looking at other people more than you look at yourself.  You'll see that they look slightly different, depending on the lighting, the background, what they're wearing, their mood, and so on.  The easiest way to make a big change in how people see you is your smile, and whether you make eye contact and respond to them.


  2. i think lighting plays a big role in how u see urself. cause the shadows and stuff. but there is no way to see ourselves 100% like others see us. even in like pictures, we can look different depending on the angle and stuff.
