I think that you are seeing this from a male perspective. Woman are a lot more affectionate creatures, We need that security and companionship. It can be a very lonely life to not have any body to sit down and have dinner with, to watch tv with, to go to a social event and every one has a partner. It can get lonely, although I don't disagree that being single has its benefits. It's better to be alone then in a miserable relationship!

reason 1.the nature requirement of our human being.

reason 2.we need supports from our loves.

but.. love have no reason...

You don't need it but it is fun and it is part of life. You don't need to drink, you don't need to gamble, you don't need to smoke, you don't need to party, you don't need a nice car...etc...but we want them because it is fun. There are some risks involved but I rather live fast and die young than living a life of a monk.

I think younger people do need love in their lives.  It's rewarding to have children with a loving family with all of the members there.  It is also good if the family can stay together and everyone be happy.  But, in a lot of cases; after the children are grown and start their families; it's okay for the parents to go their separate ways if they choose to do so.  By  this time some of the grandparents are having "being old" problems and can't stand each other or anybody else.  Then, they decide to go through their second "childhood".
