Why do you need to put up your window shade on a airplane when taking off and landing?

  1. It's so the flight attendants have a clear view of what's happening outside the plane and, if there is an engine or other fire, which exits can be safely used.


  2. Most problems, and I mean EMERGENCY problems, occur during take off and landing. Keeping your window shades raised will allow you to visibly see the conditions outside the aircraft and assess them should you need to exit in an emergency landing. Obviously, the chances of you being to exit on your own free while the plane is plummeting backwards towards the ground because a wing fell off is unlikely... but they just like to keep you aware.

  3. that's a good questions  i thought maybe   no will expect something is going on  ,on the plane or wrong ?
