Why do you/people like snowboarding?

Why do you/people like snowboarding?

Have you ever been?! It's very fun. In theory it's kindda dumb to stand on a board and ride it down the mountain, then ride the lift back to the top. But once your good, you can do jumps and tricks. Very much the same reason people probably ride roller coasters, for the trill of the adrenaline rush...

Once you get it down its a blast. You are so connected to the board it becomes an extension of your body. Then you just look for things to launch off of. The speed is addicting. Powder is the best, the floating sensation, amazing, as long as you keep your speed and stay upright, swimming in deep powder isn't fun.

It's fun!  Going down the hill and carving is a rush.  It's nice to be outside for a change.

Skiing didn't grab me like boarding did.

um my guess is you've either never gone or else you have gone but your a beginner of you just flat out suck

the reason i say this i because you get a thrill like you can do anything

but when you first start it just hurts cause you are sitting on your but the whole day

i think it's kind of addiction... once you've been on a board, you have all the chances to do it again. you should try it. :)

pure adrenaline...and when I'm snowboarding it seems like nothing really matters...
