  1. its because of the brightness that cause you too see colors at night you cannot see colors because there is no light to make contrast of the object. it never hurts to ask and it doesn't make you dumb just your teacher that's what they're here for.

    hope it helps

  2. well..just to make it simple....when u see green, that's bcoz chlorophyll (green plant pigment) is dominant inside the leaves. In fall, the leaves turn red or yellow bcoz the carotenoid & xantophyll take over to dominate inside the leaves

  3. I found the answer for you here..

    Hope it's enough information =)

  4. leaves in trees capture the energy that is present in light in order to make food for themselves. they use the process known as photosynthesis. photosynthesis uses a pigmented protein known as chlorophyll in order to catch the energy stored in light. chlorophyll is colored green, so when you look at a plant leaf in the daylight during the spring or summer it looks green because of all of the chlorophyll. When autumn arrives, trees prepare for winter by going into a semi-dormant state. as they prepare for winter they stop synthesizing the products that are made from the energy captured through using chlorophyll. So the leaves stop making chlorophyll and the other colors that were already there but hidden behind all that green start to appear. there are some other products in the leaf that appear during the fall that have colors different from chlorophyll and so consequently leaves on different trees can end up turning different colors during the fall.
