  1. I've seen more in Birmingham!

  2. Gosh there are  a lot at the Liffey Bridge.

  3. You are right, there are so many beggers in Dublin.

  4. Tinkers. Large population of them in Eire.

  5. thats not true im irish and there are alot of beggers on the streets but nothing compared to what ive seen in eastern european countries.

  6. open your borders like the dumb Irish and you will get it its only the Beging the rest are coming in 08/09 as the irish voted for a larger eourope so get use to it its only your fault for filling europe with cheep labour and beggers

  7. I see hundereds of them, there were lots even before the expansion of europe, first in 2004 and then 2007.  Now the majority seem to be Roma, however, some of the "original" (pre 2004) beggars appear to be leftovers from the effects of the heroin blitz in the city centre 1980's. It's not there's a shortage of jobs, it's just without somewhere to live it's impossible to get a job.

Having said that, some of them get 250 euro a day (that "14 year old" guy that can be seen crying around the city is older than he appears - he also is a professional beggar that goes home at night & I've seen him "off duty" wearing an expensive nike tracksuit and expensive runners)

  8. Magic ''mushroom driver'' more like. Wake uo u moron.

  9. Cos they are all beggars

  10. They flock to the Guiness....

  11. I didn't see many when I was in Dublin. Plenty of street performers and buskers and what not but not many beggars. Perhaps, I wasn't in the right areas...and as for Eastern Europe...sure there must be many in the poorer countries like Romania, but whenever I go to Poland I'm always surprised that there aren't more, if any, homeless ppl/beggars in the bigger cities. Krakow and Wroclaw don't seem to have any....then again they might all be in Ireland  (I couldn't believe how many Poles were there)

If you want to see lots of homeless people, come to Vancouver, we've got over 5000 of them...most of whom are mentally ill and/or addicted to drugs and live in the poorest neighbourhood in Canada, one which also has the highest rates of crime and HIV. It's also ironically juxtaposed with some of the most expensive real estate in Canda. But no one gives a d**n and the gentrifiers are gonna push 'em out of there soon...hope Dubliners care more than the prats that live in this city

  12. Well the economic boom. Lots of money, Lots of immigrants

    Well thast what I think.

  13. Maybe cause unemployment is high, homeless is increasing and the government arent doing anything espically for drug takers:(

  14. No but traditionally there are more poor souls who throw their lives away on drugs and booze.
