What's it all about?

They seem to park up, open the back doors wide and stay there for hours. What are they doing?

  1. Parking up for the night. They leaves the doors open so the tea leaves will see the lorry is empty, nothing to steal.

  2. if the driver is asleep it proves there is nothing in the lorry hence detering thieves

  3. it stops them being broken into it shows nothing of value on board.

you will be suprised some hold a few million pounds of stock & chancers risk it

  4. They do it so the illegal immigrants can get an idea of their new homeland.

  5. The driver leaves it open for fresh air

its to let the air circulate

and help get rid of the bad stench of sweaty feet

    and b.o after 150 + illegal immigrants

have all jumped out and scattered off

in all directions into the night

  6. Letting the immigrants out

  7. Sleeping; they tend to be long distance drivers & if they leave the doors open, no one breaks into the trailer to try & steal stuff.

  8. Ever heard 'It fell off of the back of a lorry'.

I drove lorries during one Summer holiday from Uni: If the lorry was loaded and the driver did not turn up and I took it out it was (not) surprising the amount of surplus goodies aboard.

  9. They are parking up overnight, and leave their doors open so would be thieves can see they are empty and do not slash their curtains to see what is inside.

  10. because a full lorry is a good target for a thief.

sure it could be filled with frozen peas... or it could have 5000 top of the range tv's stuffed in there.

if the back is open then thieves can see there is nothing of value inside.

  11. they are amking sure that no one tries to nick the lorry because anyone can see it is empty and not worth stealing or breaking inot.
