Why do you sometimes get that feeling where you just can't breathe in enough air?

( I'm not talking about asthma, it usually happens to me after a meal)

  1. That same thing happens to me! Its like your not working at it hard enough so you just keeep trying. Idk what it is but i hate it because it feels like something is stuck in my airways.

Anxiety or to much carbon dioxide in the bloodstream (which is released when you exhale, in goes oxygen out goes carbon dioxide) the feeling of lack of air is not low oxygen but to much carbon dioxide, if your body has little oxygen but normal CO, you wouldn't feel like you are running out of air. Anyways you could have just ate too fast.
