  1. Because of all the movement and whatnot. It traumatizes your organs.

    Sok, that really sucks that you've had such a bad time with your endo. I am looking at lap #2, and it's been 3 years since my first one.  


  2. Because of the work that was done inside such as around the uterus as can be the case with endometriosis (an example only).

    Also, the movement of instruments during the procedure can irritate the insides to some degree.  This is also why for many the first few periods after a laparoscopy can be quite intense.
