Why do you suppose most of us prefer drinking cold water, as opposed to hot or tepid?

Because it is far easier to go to the fridge, open it, get out a bottle of H2O, open it, pour a glass (which organised people have already retrieved from the cupboard/dishwasher etc), mop up the spills, guzzle it and then reverse the entire operation THAN sticking ones head under the faucet and guzzling it direct!

I have this weird feeling of deja vu!
