icon??? If she had lived, do you think that today she would still be as sought after, as photographed, or would she have settled down and blended more quietly into the shadows, still doing good works for worthy causes?

  1. Diana would still be in the public eye because she was a genuinely good person.

  2. She adored the limelight, even perfected her so called 'shy look' for the crowds. Just think of all the other British royals and you can easily imagine why Diana stood out and became an icon.

  3. She would still be sought after - admittedly she would not have the same youthful beauty, but would still be a beautiful glamorous and fashionable woman.  I think she embodied the dream of many little girls to marry a prince in a lavish wedding with the fantasy gown, live in a castle and have little princes. And when that didn't work out she created her own magic through her friendships with musicians and fashion designers, redesigning herself with a fresh, less prim look and came out all the more glamorous for her trouble.

  4. She'd still be sought-after...Jacqueline Onassis was a person of interest until the day she died (and after).

  5. Diana was the Best thing Britian had going for it.  God bless her memory  She would still be as famous as she was

  6. Since she actively sought publicity I don't think she would have wanted to blended into the shadows. She'd rather be on the front page getting one of her journalist "friends" to write a smear piece about the last person who made her angry.

  7. Because there was people that they like the same type of the useless news for useless persons.
