Why do you think God cares about you when he seems to have cared so little for many others throughout history?

I mean what makes you so special when the millions of others before you and alive today have been so abandoned? Not to mention the debate between the main religions over who is right and wrong? One HAS to be right or ALL of them are WRONG! So we are all left to choose very carefully or we are going straight to h**l in Christianity; suffer the possibility of being murdered if we fall away from or don't believe in Islam' or have to live the rest of our lives under the most inane, strict laws if we believe in Judaism? What is a reasonable person to do?

It is not God who has failed, but men in their arrogance and stubborn self will, refusing to walk in His ways and repent of their evil doing that has brought centuries of grief and suffering upon the race of Adam.

Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord Jesus, from the heart, will be saved.

You are either in God's favor, through faith, or you are still guilty of your sins, and liable to pay the price.

I know He cares about me, because all I ever had to do to get His care was reach out and take it!

You are right: either one religion is true, or none of them is true. One thing is for sure: they can't all be true.

You are mistaken, though, to think that God has abandoned anyone. Can't you see that the earth is in the hands of man? God has left us to our own devices. If anyone is abandoned, they are abandoned by man. God, in the Bible, shows his anger towards Israel when he tells them they have sinned as a nation for neglecting the poor among them.

It is man's responsibility to take care of our fellow man. Yes, I am my brother's keeper.

Don't blame God for all of the evils in the world. Did God make you tell a lie? Did he make you steal? Did he make you hate? I don't think so. You did that. That was the evil in your heart. Don't blame God for your own wicked heart.

God cares enough to give everyone some kind of brain and many religions to help us make choices. Then God loves us enough not to interfere with our choices. It is us who abandoned God, and not the other way around.

I have no religion but I love God. When i stay connected with God, I only falter a tiny bit, mostly out of habit. I see many people thinking like Lucifer did in that they can by-pass God and then they scream out "why have your forsaken me?"

I imagine God just allows us to be the fools we choose to be.

I choose no religion for I now understand how t be good and act good and do things that make me feel good. I do not need anyone as God's interpreter for me for God can let me know directly.

Religion is just a the elementary school for spiritual growth. Any of them if read the right way will take you deeper in the to Love of Creator. I studied a few and found that most of what I felt was true was already within me!

Situation: A God loving woman who went to church every Sunday gets hit by a car driven by a drunk driver and dies, despite being only 27.

God hasn't abonded everyone, and he loves everyone.

He's not 100% restrivtive, and he shows His love by giving us the ability to choose.

We choose to do stupid things, such as say dinking and driving, and that affaects others.

God gave the driver the choice to drive, because he loves everyone.

My religion is right. I'm a meist. This means I figure it out for my d**n self. or even make it up. Yeah. We'll probably snuff it. I don't mind the idea that humanity is doomed but the idea that we won't even make it farther along, timewise, than say...rabbits, is really embarrassing.

If we choose Jesus as our Saviour we are never abandoned and everyone will go through trials in life. Instead of following a religion you should read the Bible and believe in what it tells us. It is our choice whether we are gng to h**l or not. God loves all of us, He gave His only begotten Son for everyone of us.
