  1. Yuk, but how about the Japanese one in which a fish is put into pure Saki. The shock makes the fish empty it's whole stomach and then the fish is eaten raw. Nice,,I suppose the next course is whale meat

In Korea hot dog is real dog and not some substitute

I agree Tony Benn is an old fool, only a fool would support George Galloway, Tony Benn is a dangerous  fool because he genuinely comes across as  very clever.

  2. We could perhaps start by copying their education system which still teaches children how to read, write and add up. In China, there are no benefit scroungers or young women having children simply to get more hand-outs from the government. Foot binding hasn't been practised in China for 60 years by the way.

Are you suggesting that Mao deliberately brought on a mass famine to reduce the population?

  3. Trouble with the chinese? They just dont get it, try as they may.

  4. Have you run out of targets in the UK ?  I think the disaster response in China was extremely impressive and the conduct of their Prime Minister Wen Jiabao exemplary.  I would be surprised if our own government responded so quickly.

Anything useful that wasn't invented by a Scotsman was probably invented in China 2,000 years ago.

  5. tony benn ?

is he the one who went into the changing room and had a different adverture every time ?

  6. Yeah, the Chinese eat anything and have absolutely no respect for creatures.  If they can do this, then just think what they would be capable of doing to human beings.

See what they are capable of - watch this video:

  7. A classic statement from a member of the Government.

  8. No, I doubt he meant that at all.  Perhaps he was referring to the ancient civilisation that was way ahead of the "West" for millennia.

There is a lot of British and American history that we should be ashamed of, so perhaps you should not be so quick to judge.

  9. That really is awful. I hope this doesn't come across as xenophobic........... do the Chinese go out of their way to pi** off other nations?

Tony Benn can read ? I'm shocked.

  10. Some Idiots will buy them.

  11. They are heartless and extremely cruel people and I despise them, maybe a few more earthquakes might shake them up!

  12. I do believe it's Tony Bennett and he is a very talented individual.  I do not agree with him on that statement however.

I find that article disgusting.  China sucks.  I try not to buy things made there but it is certainly a very hard thing to do.  Seeme like everything is from there.  They don't seem to have any respect for living things - and that is funny because all you ever here about China, etc. is having respect for their ancestors and family, etc.  They teach their kids at a young age their lack of respect for living things.  The whole idea of the Olympics there irritates me to no end.  They should never have been allowed to  have it there.  Not with their treatment of Tibet, etc.  Money is all it's about.  I won't watch them that's for sure.

  13. the Chinese have no idea how to treat animals..........never mind their people.......freaks.....

  14. It amazes me that people always use the word "PC" when they have a weak argument.  You just know when people use it they have already made the mind up. It is pointless debating the question.

Yes there is a lot to learn from the chinese. Yes you can argue that the chinese are cruel to animals & show little respect for them. You have given a perfect example of that. Some one made a comment about eating cats & dogs. If you eat meat any animal is game. You can not judge a country because they think it is acceptable to eat different animals to you. I the idea that the animals are thrown live into boiling water I personally find unacceptable. But virtually every product you buy other than food is made in China. Now that tells me we have missed a trick. A big trick. There is a lesson to be learnt. See the desktop I am using has chinese components in it. The car I drive has chinese components in it. At work the products I use are chinese. Tomorrow a few million people are going shopping. They are going to buy lots of chinese products. If you ask them would you buy a Tv made in china for £500 or the same TV made in the UK for a £1000 which do you think they would buy. It is a pointless question really. We all know the answer. It would be chinese. So if the people of this country really cared about human & animal crulty why do they buy the products made in China.  People do have a choice not to buy. We are not entirly immune in this country from animal crulty We still have fox hunting & from what I have seen it seems large amounts of the UK population are in favour of it. ( Someone is probably going to tell me fox hunting is not cruel ). But the biggest lesson that the chinese have taught me is that most people in the UK do not care.

You forgot to mention the systematic murder of female babies when they were born. They did not even get to the rooms where the babies were left to die.

Also the systematic removel of any polictical oppenents to the party. If you so much as utted a word against the party that was it, life over. You were more than likely going to end up in a labour camp for life with no sense of justice.

I agree with all the examples you have given. But i would never condem all the people of that country for it.

  15. I reckon he meant that we should live in a country ruled by a gang of unelected old men.  A land where debate, freedom of speech, dissent and having more than one child per family are all forbidden.  Bennite Utopia.
