  1. dont know, but i think that kyle will be reigning for the next 3 years and hpefully tony too but jr, i dont really picture him being champ

  2. i say drop it man your just given us all 2 points so ya

  3. Well I'll try to help out.

He doesn't seem to care whether he wins or loses

    He's overrated.

If you’ve ever been to a NASCAR event and had to suffer through the blind cheering of “Junior Nation” you know why. He has tons of fans at each race, and I can't figure out why. What has he done? His father is another story, but Jr. supposedly doesn't want to live in his "shadow" and it's obvious, as he seems to try his best to avoid it, including leaving the company his father built. He wanted to go to a place where he could win, and although it's just his first season, I'm waiting with open eyes. Personally, I think he is a traitor and power hungry but good luck convincing other people of that.

He has become the sob story of NASCAR. His Nation may be realizing finally that he's not quite what he is cracked up to be, and they think he is entitled to win. NASCAR is supposed to be a competitive sport and I love the fact that many fans and drivers realize that you must deserve a win, and not are entitled to one just because you've had a couple of bad seasons, and not met expectations. This may not convince you one way or the other, but it's some food for thought. I know I'm going against the popular opinion here, but it's better to think for yourself than allow others to do it for you if you ask me.

Just my opinion, don't kill me.

  4. On look at the record book shows he is overrated. Kenseth and Earnhardt started at the same time. Kenseth won rookie of the year, has a championship, and finished second in the points another time.

  5. Well let's see He is 0 for 74 and has only 17 lifetime wins He has a famous name that;'s it.  Do you really think he can accomplish what his dad did?

  6. I personally think hes a better driver than his dad,at least he doesn't wreck other drivers to win!!

  7. Common Sense

  8. No one has rated Jr above Gordon, Stewart, Johnson or Busch, have they?

So by his rating he should be fifth in points yet he is third in the standings so he is actually underated at the moment.

All the rest about his dad or whatever is BS people, think about it.

  9. if jr can get his "feet settled" by the end of this year which i think he will, then he has a shot at the championship this year, just remember when the chase starts so do the points.

oops, i meant when the chase starts the points restart. :)

  10. I have said before that I am not a Dale Jr fan but, I have absolutely nothing against him. I believe that there are a lot of people bashing Dale Jr right now are actually Budweiser, DEI or Dale Sr fans who jumped over to Dale Jr after his father's tragic death. They expected great things from him due to his name, then when he switched to Hendrick and still has no wins, they have become hostile towards him. What a shame your lives have become so pathetic, that you will bash someone just because he hasn't put his car in victory lane yet.

Let's describe the word " overrated" It's a term used to discredit someone or something without any justification. That means that anyone who would use such a word ( in my book) is just a mindless troll looking for attention. I saw the web site " over88ted" that is a prime example of someone with a pathetic life. I would love to see the person who developed that site suit up and jump in a race car for just one season, if this person could even handle one race. Dale Jr doesn't owe anything to any of you nascar freaks. He is out there on that track because of his love for racing. I believe he would do it for free if that was possible.

  11. I completely agree with you I think a good many of the bashers are finally starting to terms with the fact that he isn't his father and doesn't want to be I feel there was a very large amount of weight put on his shoulders after Sr died and many fans think just because his name is Earnhardt that he will be his dad.

He is honest I don't think he knows how to lie even when it might behoove him to lie.  Also it just seems a lot of people just jump on the bandwagon of haters because that is all they can do.  It keeps them from having to have an original thought.  This goes for all the haters of every driver if you notice the questions from the haters and bashers are almost all the same everytime.

edit: HEY Paul you didn't answer the question thanks much for proving my point.

  12. Yes Jr is Overrated

  13. I don't think he's overrated so much as over exposed. Anytime he goes somewhere or does something the media HAS to be there to cover it. He isn't all that bad of a driver, and I agree with you that when he gets settled he'll be fine, but the media should back off of him a little bit. There are other drivers on the track having a better day than Jr., but they have to make sure they document when he's not feeling thirsty anymore.

He's learned alot since he came up the ranks, mostly in part with help from Mark Martin and some of the older guys, whom Jr. credits for helping him along.

  14. seriously, try decaf. less run-on sentences that way.

As long as there are fans, there will be overrated drivers.

He'll win again soon, and be a serious contender for the Cup. 10 consistent races and anything could happen.

  15. Thank You so much for saying what I've been trying to get across to people and no one seemed to care or wanted to listen to me all they want to do is bash him and compare him to his dad and like you said he's not his dad nor is he trying to be!! Jr is a great guy with a good heart and a deep love for racing!! And I whole heartily agree with you once he gets completely settled at HMS he'll kick a$$ and get that championship heck he's had a pretty descent year so far this year! And hey I'm a true member of Jr Nation so I'll keep believing no matter what until he does!!!

    Good question and point!!(thanks!!)
