Why do you think more teenagers don't practice abstinence?

It's because parents now-a-days wants their children to think for themselves that their children would just do whatever is surrounding(influencing) to him/her. As a child, we need guidance until we get to a certain age that we can think for ourselves and know what is ethical or not.

Many teenagers say they ignore the abstinence message, because of to reasons: Reason number one is it is so easy to hide their sexual activity by lying about going to the movies, sneaking out at night or skipping school during the day. Teens also cuddle on walks in the woods and sneak away on weekend campouts with other teens. The second reason teens ignore the abstinence message is because teens complain that s*x education in high school is often too basic and is taught with outdated instructional materials.
