Why do you think my dad checked the oil and water in my moms car when she got home one afternoon?

Woman, who drive the car dont know whats to check under the hood. Your dad want to check make sure the engine keep maintain. One time, my friend wife were driving car with no water in the engine then he have to buy new engine.

For the same reason he always does it and you keep asking.

That is what husbands do for their wives. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE!

Why is it a big deal....he wants to keep her car running good so he does not have to pay to get it fixed. Plus it is always fun to "check you wife's oil"

Personally, I know how to do it.  But I'd rather have someone else do it, to tell you the truth.  It's just not one of those 'fun' jobs, to me.

I know it's necessary - so if noone was around, I would do it on my own.

But if I had a husband who offered I would be thanking the Lord! :)
