  1. because that's what his dad did for his mom. he could show her how to do it herself if she wanted him to. would she make the best judgement about it? think about it: there's probably lots of stuff she does for him that he doesn't do. people do things for each other and it feels like they're each worth the attention. that's good.

if the water and oil don't get checked you don't know if they're ok or not. so what would you say if somebody asked you , "How's the oil in the car?" Would your reply be "dunno, ask dad." or "wait I'll go see", or "go look at it".

  2. good maintenance lets owners of automobiles last longer

  3. cuz that's what good hubbies do..

it's for the same reason we wash his clothes for him and cook for him

  4. Because being female she will not think about that sort of thing just drive till the engine blows.

  5. So that her car dont mess up. If you wait untill you know its out becuase it messes up that could make big problems with your car. He is just trying to be nice. And if it is an expincive car *hit he better check it everyday. So he dont have to pay alot of money for new parts.

  6. to just do it for her...and make sure

  7. He probably wants to make sure shes safe out on the road and it you keep up with preventative maintenance you have less chance of breaking down and being stranded.

  8. WHat??

  9. Because he cares about her safety and wants to maintain the car. People can do things for their spouse without it being for sexist or stereotypical reasons.

(They can also do it for just that reason)

  10. Because he cares about her .Also since(maybe ) he pays for the car and doesnt want it wore down.

  11. Um, to make sure it stays running. Should she do it instead?

  12. to make sure she's not a w***e

  13. i am so glad to see your back and asking the same question  this really does need to be answerd  i hope you get the answer your expecting

my answer is  your dad doesn't trust your mom to do it

  14. water? antifreeze....oil to keep up the car maintenance

  15. I'm gonna answer because no one has answered correctly

Today there are hardly any full serve gas stations,so leaves nothing but self serve, full serve used to check the oil, water, belts, battery water, tires and tire air pressure plus wash your windshield and the check your wiper blades. This was done on every car that came in for gas,now you know this just isn't done anymore for free, these are the things that keep a car running so someone has to do it,my kids still come over for a visit and still ask me to check there car out for them..its what dads are for

  16. well, probably because he loves her, or she doesn't want to do it, or he has a car fetish, or he's checking for hidden love letters, or he likes the smell of oil.

I don't really know. I'll bet he does, though!

  17. Your mom might not want to or might not know how.

  18. Usually in a marriage everyone has their job. A man's usually is taking out the garbage and working on the car. Women's jobs are usually cooking and cleaning unfortunately because men won't do it. I think your mom would be glad to change jobs with him but I don't think he would feel the same.

  19. Because sometimes daddies like to do nice things for mommies or maybe he knows that if he doesn't do it, it won't get done.
