Because every dollar invested in space research returns the equivalent of about seven dollars to the economy. It's just a good investment.

because if earth fails, nasa can find new planets to live on and develop ways to get there. Did u not know nasa recently found ice buried on Mars

its not they say it is 4 a no telling how much money gimmick just like everything else who cares really if they r aliens and ufo's if they r the government will cover it up like area51 going to the moon what 4 to see earth as a marble now they on mars with enough money to feed ppl on earth in every nation as far as that goes if the nasa ppl knew the truth why didnt they figure out a way to save the earth like put a barrial around it no its not worth funding if u do u should take a ride with the sunroof open and throw ur through it that way ppl behind u could at least buy gas to follow u
