  1. it's called genes

  2. If we didn't we would all be in trouble.LOL

  3. It's mainly the result of pre-natal (i.e. womb) conditions.  That's why they're all unique.

Genetics plays a tiny role in determining some of the major structures and patterns, but the conditions in the womb determine the details.

  4. Why wouldn't they be different? Nothing else is exactly the same from person to person.Even twins have some variations if you look hard enough. Fingerprints are pretty complicated patterns, so they'd be the last thing of all to be identical.

  5. It's not about god or genetics at all.  Identical twins have different fingerprints.  Fingerprints (and toeprints, etc.) are caused by the flow of fluids in the womb, which are experienced differently by all fetuses.  No genes involved.

  6. Everyone has a unique gene pattern, and the human genome has some 3 billion or something genes in it, all with lots of different combonations. Considering there are only 6.5 billion people on Earth... it's obvious that everyone's fingerprint is unique (except identical twins). Hope I helped!

  7. One of God's wonders, i guess so we are all identifiable, we are all different and unique, only a really awesome God could pull that off!

  8. Perhaps the fingerprint gene is unstable?

  9. cuz God made people diffrent and some of that is from genetics
