Okay.....I have had starbucks a few times and its okay to me. But I dont understand why people can pay that much for coffee, and have it taste....a little under the "good" catagory. Why do you think that is?

  1. Marketing.

Starbucks has done a wonderful job of marketing and has made itself into a "hip" place to be especially towards the college age demographic.

They are making millions of dollars by selling decent tasting coffee that's over priced.

  2. Well, i think a lot of people think its very good lol. I love it too! and maybe its because you can make the orders custom and stuff. Like with no foam, and fat free milk, no sugar and stuff like that. Also, a lot of celebrities go there too so i guess people want to buy what there buying...idk lol. hope i helped!

  3. Well, some people are true coffee lovers and have to have the best! It is more pricey yes, but in turn you are getting a better quality product - the coffee there is much stronger then lets say Dunkin Donuts.

Then there are the other people who make lots of money and go there and don't have to worry about the price and go there for the sake of going there.

  4. I don't ever order just plain coffee. I always get something a little more complicated that I can't make myself, like a frappuccino or a caramel macchiato. And since it's expensive I just go there occasionally. I don't see the point in paying for an expensive cup of okay coffee when you can just brew it yourself.

  5. because its pricey,

people think that its good quality

and that theyre sophisticated or high class for going there

or because they just like it

  6. Coffee addiction....some probably have to have it.  It won't be a good day if they can't get a cup.
