  1. To them doing the right thing isn't a risk. Driving a car is taking a risk. Doing the right thing is the same kind of risk in my mind. There might be a price to pay of some kind, but for the most part, doing the right thing carries a much smaller risk (price) than doing the wrong thing.

  2. because they feel guilty about it later hats the way i am :-)

  3. because they wish so much for something, that they no longer care if it's risky or not...

  4. 'Because there exists always something greater existent than that which we can conceive. What are risks to some are quaint expressions to others.  What is right to some is inconsequential to others.  What one guys does may well be done simply for no other reason than it is there to do and is not endeavored solely for some ulterior purpose.

What of faith in a seed?

Still others realize if a feat or an act or effort or a wish is not performed and carried to fruition, then who else is there who might do it?  And who says that they could "think" it is a right thing or not -- all embroiled in loops and error that come by too much thought?  What says they 'know' it is right; ay, they may care less if it were right or wrong or waffle and whose verdict comes from out of agreement between the heart and mind and that very something, which as is said, evidences to chance be an even greater ideal and reality?

  5. conscience and instinct

  6. for the adrenaline rush

  7. Its because they place the importance of others before their own welfare

  8. because if you know something is right and you dont do it, you feel guilty and if something happens you will always regret what you could have done to stop it. If you do the right thing good things will happen to you in the end

  9. Because it's important to them to do the right thing.

Also, some people are  born risk takers.

  10. People may decide and instinctively take risks, and even dive deep into deadly dangers, in order to try and do what they think is the right thing because

there is always at least a tinge of good fiercy courage in even the weakest human soul; there is often a blunt pressing risky drive to assert one's own good reasons, to try and affirm or promote that which objectively or subjectively is felt to be right or honest or due.

Even in a world of murderous wild human beasts where we might get killed at any moment, most among us may be willing to resolutely peremptorily come out into the open and want to clearly affirm our own good reasons in defense of ourselves, of others, of a common good or of a good objective, even in defense of some souls who are strangers to us and far-away from us.

We are apt to be stubbornly vigilant about what we think is the right thing. Sometimes excessively stubborn and thru the excuse or blessing of so-called blind faith. Often even if it can cost us our own life. We might say that it definitely is of the human nature.
