Why do you think so many people are afraid of spiders?

They look grouchy and think they own the place. That's why.

the fact that they crawl on you and people think that when they so they will automatically bite/sting you! im scared becuz of that i dont wanna be bitten and plus who just WANTS bugs crawling all over the place...i dont so i kill them! i dont want them on me stinging me causing hospital visits! && PLUS they're creepy!

for eons, humans evolved in situations where we would have to be careful of other animals, because they were dangerous. your fright is simply evolution's result. you've been bred to be afraid of anything with more than 2 legs. that's because humans who didn't have this fear usually were killed by wild animals, back in the stone age and all. remember...chickens and cowards live longe

I always have been and can't help it.

I guess it's just what you hear about them growing up and then it grows on you I suppose.

cause spiders are creepy with they're legs and body's! blaah! cause spiders are gross, duuh! ever see a picture of a spider close up? ever seen there EYES!!
