Why do you think that people WANT to be SCARED????

Like on Ghost Whisperer tonight...the girls calling on Bloody Mary. Oops..Why am I WATCHING it?? So..why do we like to be spooked? I don't! If it gets scary ..I'll change the channel. But some people go out of their way for a scare. Why?

Adrenaline, it's great feel this nice and safe drug created for you body when you are scare it, it's like feel a live. Who cares if you **** your pants, that emotion it's out of this world.

Our species is a very curious one & even tho something may scare us to death chances are, we will still go into the dark just to see what the outcome will be.

I think a lot of us have plenty of really scary things in life, so for entertainment, when you know you're going to be OK when the show is over or you're through the haunted house, it's like a "safe" scare--you can enjoy being afraid because you're not going to really lose anything.

It's also a shared experience--people tend to watch these things with friends--can be funny how scared folks get, etc.

Go ahead and say it three times!  It's the rush!  Get the adrenalin pumping for a quick thrill.  It's rather addictive, I raced motorcycles  and did other stuff as a kid for thrills.  That is why extreme are so popular.
