Ok, before I told the defendants attorney that I had an attorney to properly represent me. He who owns a law firm and is also the defendants attorney told me several days ago when he thought that I did not have an attorney told me to get an attorney and a good attorney so I can get money from the defendants. He told me this several times during the phone conversation that I had with him. Why?

  1. They're calling your bluff.  If you want to be taken seriously, you will get an attorney.

  2. Consider yourself lucky, for at least he is a honest, straight up, tell it like it is attorney, and probably knows you deserve a settlement of some kind. Otherwise, without a attorney, he has to put his clients first, and you would probably not get a dime. Especially if he is good, and well known.
