  1. She a strong conservative woman

    McCain For President

  2. I'm not terrified of her I think McCain's choice of her sealed the deal for Obama. When Obama chose Biden I didn't think he's win unless McCain did something like chose Liberman as a VP, but he did even better he chose a Woman who is the one of the worst representation of women's rights and feminism and a bad choice for second in command.

  3. They're not, they're actually relieved he didn't choose Romney as his VP because McCain selecting Palin just increased Obamas chances of winning.

  4. Sarah Palin puts the lie to the Liberal belief that this country is controlled by white males and no woman could ever achieve the highest levels of success unless the Democrats hold her hand.  She is self-made.  She personifies what feminism has been pretending to be about for many years.  Unlike the feminist icon, Hillary, she did it on her own not on her husband's coattails.

She has a life. A great life.  She has a husband, a dashing, loving husband.  She has kids, five beautiful kids.  She has a career a very successful career and she is a natural leader.  For like minded women she is a role model for the jealous she is a pariah.

There are a lot of women out there who have bought into the Liberal model.  They are still waiting for the Democrat Party to 'lift them up".   Then there are the Sarah Palins of America.  They do their own heavy lifting.

This now makes Liberal women re-examine their own lives.  Maybe the cards are not stacked against them.  Maybe there are a lot more doors to opportunity available.  Maybe they have been duped into waiting for a Democrat Train that will never come.  It is a time for some serious soul searching from those who believed the lie that they are victims and need not even try.  Sarah Palin proves that you are only a victim if you choose to be.

  5. She lies, she has ethical issues and she advocates reactionary stands on important issues. I'm not terrified.  Instead, I have contempt.

  6. Because she's dangerous for this country and believes in killing things for fun. She's a psychopath plain and simple.

  7. Yes, we are terrified... not because he's a strong conservative woman... because she's wanting to enact policy that have been shown that doesn't work.

Abstinence-only education - doesn't work (Bristol is a fine example)

Family Values - she's all talk, but her family is taking a backseat in this one, especially her newborn.

With all of this drama, will other countries in the world really take her seriously?

  8. I think Palin is a fundie nutjob.  She is too dumb to fear.

"Satan planted those fossils." - fundie

"Belief in evolution sends thousands to h**l every day." - fundie

Evolution was always nothing more than a theory !Creationism is proven through fossils and history !" - fundie

"That {tattoos} was another way Satan was trying to insult God, by marking His people." - fundie

"There was no room on the ark for the dinosaurs so they drowned." - fundie

"It never rained before the flood that is why no one believed Noah." - fundie

"Schizophrenia is demon possession." - fundie

"Menopause is punishment for sin." - fundie

"Yes God created all animals. But He knew that they {dinosaurs} would hurt people, and allowed them to die during the flood." - fundie

"Science has yet to disprove anything that God has said in His Word. If science says anything different, you'd best question the scientist that said it. God's word is truth. Scientists lie." = fundie

"Satan caused Adam and Eve to sin, therefore corrupting paradise. Thus decay began. Disease is a direct result of that original sin." - FUNDIE

  9. Palin never voted against nor vetoed a law allowing people who defended themselves from intruders by using handguns to assert self-defense as a legal defense if prosecuted for violating local handgun bans.

    Obama did just that.

  10. People keep saying the left is terrified, scared, nervous, etc. But have you actually spoken to democrats and I don;t mean through yahoo answers.  I have yet spoken to a democrat who feels Palin is a big threat. I am not just saying it as a democrat but as someone who is surrounded by the news and politics everyday.  The polls today still show Obama in the lead so I don;t think it has scared democrats much.

BTW:  Libberman was McCains real first choice but they talked him out of it.

  11. I don't think they are..

I think that McCain is terrified to have her scrutinized, judging by the temper tantrums he throws when anyone tries to question her.

  12. Because the people love her she is real!!! America needs change and that change is Palin !  Women for POWER!!!!

  13. Maybe because Governor Sarah Palin has more experience and better judgment than Jr. senator Barack Obama.

There is many more reasons... but I'm sure this is the main one.

  14. Reps should be afraid of her, specially after the National enquierer reported that has had an extramarital affair with her husband's business partner. Hey they were right abot Edwards

  15. i'm terrified of her becuase im terrified of anyone who has such strong feelings of denying people basic rights such as being pro-CHOICE (choice being the keyword), anti-g*y marriage (everyone deserves to be happy with the one they love) and just so plain demented. I just dont agree with extreme right wing people. i feel that everyone deserves to live life  how they want as long as its not dangerous to others

  16. Terrified? No.

I'm not terrified of Palin.  I'm terrified what she'll do to the government.  Imagine a redneck running the White House.  Now who wouldn't be terrified?

    Her qualification as a redneck:

    1.  Has a granddaughter out of wedlock.

    2.  Quotes Bible for her reasoning.

    3.  Loves guns.

    4.  Comes from a tiny town where outhouses are a way of life.

    5.  Beauty pageant winner.

So basically if you want an eye candy for VP who really won't do a thing (that's what VP's do unless of course John kicks the bucket.. OMG let him live!!) then vote for Palin.

She might as well have been a high school principal.  My high school had more people than her little tiny town.  And you think she got to be the Governor because of her experience as a Mayor of a high school?  No!!  She got it because of the eye candy factor.  What qualification does she have really? None.

McCain is not stupid.  He's using Palin to get to the Presidency and Palin won't be a voice for women like all women think that she'll be.

Come on people!  Republicans have guys like Mitt Romney who's a Mormon (and we know how much Mormons love their wives and women's rights) and not too long ago guys like David Duke (former KKK member) and you think a Mormon or a former KKK member is going to do their part to ensure equality among different races and sexes?

Wake up and smell the coffee.  Republicans always throw dividing issues into the fray to confuse the voters but bottom line is... who's going to support the poor and the middle class?  Republicans who want to not tax those who make millions at the expense of the poor? Or Democrats who want to distribute the wealth more equally?

You have seen how capitalism is SOOO goood as distributing the wealth among the populace.  Wake up people!!! Rich people are funding these campaigns so they can stay rich and make more money at the expense of the rest of the middle and lower class families like your and mine.  Look at the corporate payout to CEO's who lose money and destroy people's retirement plans.  They get millions to destroy people lives???? How fair is that????

I just can't believe that poor people are so stupid not to see beyond the "dividing social issue".  Republicans and rich people are going to tug at you with those "dividing social issues" for years and years and what will you have to show for it?  Your poor broke bank account while some CEO is making millions off the failing economy because it sure isn't failing for them, just the rest of us who pay their salary through our low wage jobs.

  17. Are you paying attn.  Come on!  There is something seriously not right with her.  She scares the c**p out of me.  She's just another politician who has policies that would only benefit a small majority of  the American people.  She wanted succession for her state, that is a very radical stance on an issue concerning our country.  She advocates children getting married.  She thinks that it is god's will to make a pipe line that will run through Alaska, sorry but that is man's will.  I don't particularly remember hearing god make a PSA on that issue nor on the issue of Iraq.  I'm tired of these politicians using god to manipulate the public, and force laws and policies.  You should also be scared of this lady.

  18. Because her left pinkie is smarter and has more class than Biden and Obama put together.

  19. All you people that are electing Mc/Pain 08 is simply because you’re racist and don't want to elected a black guy for president.

Please, just stop excusing yourself for being RACIST!!!!

  20. I'm scared that if the 70 something yr old McCain gets elected Pres, and then he dies, this religious nut will be in charge of the whole country.

    THAT"S what I'm scared about.

  21. we are all terrified of the gops handpicked big business candidate and you should be to unless you are filthy rich

  22. she is tough..she is smart...she is ready for a fight..but most important she represents everything they are not while been the first female that will be VP and then president of the US..something they wanted to be first on....well they had their Chance in Hillary and they blew it...and now they are pissed that the repub have gone ahead and will make than happen...in one word envy!

  23. because she is a direct contradiction to their teachings that women MUST kill their children to make it in a man's world.

they don't like Sarah's presence showing people what a crock of sh-- they've been preaching.

  24. Because she is a woman who has the bravado (I won't use the other term) of a man, but no matter what the forum, debate, whatever, they have to treat  her like a lady, no matter how raunchy she gets.  If it were a man, they could all get down and dirty, but she requires kid gloves (no matter what she says) because women all over the country will be up in arms about how THAT MAN treated THAT WOMAN.  She will be applauded for attacking a man, but not being attacked.  You know what?  It just ain't fair and they all know it.  That's why she is terrifying.

It was the same with Hilary.  They kept wondering why OBAMA didn't fight back.  That was why.

  25. I think the left has little tolerance for frustration and also, want everything to be easy and McCain is not making it easy for them...they are at a loss because they can't figure out where McCain is coming from...and he likes that...lol

  26. Terrified? Hardly. Amused, for sure.

The GOP puts out an unqualified candidate and you call us terrified?

I think you are projecting the fears of your own party.

  27. I am middle of the road.   I do not think anyone is "terrified" of her.   With some of the statements she has made, they are just going to hand her a bigger shovel.   Iraq was a mission from God indeed.  Tell her that the Crusades ended long ago.

  28. sarah palin told ministry students to pray for a plan to build a $30 billion natural gas pipeline in the state, calling it "God's will."

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080903/ap_o...

  29. Oh girl your so funny..after her c**p speech lastnight she just handed it over to Obama..Let the best man win LOL.....

Btw- for the record she got caught in MANY lies lastnight and they will come and bite her in the butt when Biden chews her up in the debates..I would pay to be there to see her cry :)

  30. Because for decades, the Democrats have been telling women and minorities that they won't get anywhere without their help.

Palin proves that a woman can succeed without the Democratic Party.

  31. Because she is so right of center on the political spectrum.  Moderate Republicans are giving her mild endorsements as well.
