  1. Immaturity and lack of driving experience are the two main factors leading to the high crash rate among teens.

    Graduated licensing laws, which include a three-phase program that allows teen drivers to develop mature driving attitudes and gain experience behind the wheel, have been successful in reducing teen motor vehicle accidents.

    3. Little or no parental supervision

  3. For the same reason the military recruits young people, their fearless, have the "It won't happen to me" mindset. and are willing to try anything without considering the consequences.

  5. Young people are more inexperienced and reckless. When we're young, we're always thinking about the present. We hardly ever stop to think that our actions might have serious repercussions.
