  1. Because our lovely president has crappy policies, that's why.  What started the free-fall?  Sending jobs overseas.  When you have millions of people out of work, it's only natural that everything else will soon fall apart.  How are people going to afford mortgages when they don't have a job?

I personally can't wait until Jr. is out of office and we get someone in there who actually gives a c**p.

  2. Bad foreign policy, bad domestic policy. The dollar is in free-fall, energy prices are skyrocketing, and the Bush administration does nothing.

  3. Leadership that cares more about looting our and every other country than taking care of the needs of our country.

  4. I don't know.........maybe, the government!!!!!

  5. King George & cronnies.

  6. Because we have liberals here

  7. If we are in trouble, it is because we have lost sight of what OUR country is all about.

NO ONE is entitled to anything yet some think they are entitled to anything they want even if it means infringing on someone else's rights.

EVERYONE is offended by something and believes that whatever offends them should be abolished yet if they offend anyone it is ok.

GOVERNMENT is meant to provide a free and safe environment for all to strive to succeed yet many think they are supposed to provide every need for free.

MANY believe this - If I make millions of dollars, good for me, I deserve it.  If you make millions of dollars, shame on you, you should be taxed more and more.

Luckily we are still free - so many people who disagree with my rant will vote this comment with a "thumbs down" (I respect their right to do that) while others who are probably as p!ssed as I am will give me an enthusiastic "thumbs up"  ;)

  8. Country's management being given in the hands of burglars and thieves what else can we expect

  9. I think it is because the population has gotten so high, that we are too crowded and using too much material

  10. Because we spend the countries tax money on things that don't benefit our citizens. This goes for anything from a war in Iraq to tax subsidies for companies that are shipping jobs over seas.

Use US tax money on people in the US. Think what lovely and high tech roads, trains, schools, and cities we could build with that money.

Give tax breaks to companies that hire US workers and manufacture goods in the US. Tax incoming goods from China at a higher rate than those we sell to other countries (brining in new foreign money to boost our economy).

And finally, stream-line the political and tax system so money goes quickly where it is needed and doesn't get lost in the journey, lining the pockets of everyone along the way.

  11. because BOTH parties are nothing but order takers, selling influence to lobbyists, both foreign and domestic

they care only about a transaction of money for favor, long  citizen interests mean absolutely nothing to them

  12. It's not in as much trouble as the media makes it out to be. The solution to high gas prices is simple, really. We need to drill for oil domestically instead of paying for EXTREMELY overpriced oil overseas. We are getting ripped off by them, NOT the oil companies. The democrats in congress don't want to let us drill for oil though, go figure.
