Why do you wear underwear?

Why is not wearing underwear gross? I'm a male and I've gone through phases of wearing it and not. I've also gone through phases where I've only worn it for social occasions. What do you do? I also enjoy sleeping nude, the only time I don't is when I've had room-mates and that was to be polite. Do you sleep nude as well?

I wear it cos sometimes I wear skirts and I would NEVER do a Britney, its just trashy and not me.

I would sleep nude, but I don't live alone lol

Lmao! I think a lot of people sleep nude, I do sometimes. But I prefer to wear underwear when I go out and stuff.

If someone has really bad hygiene then it might be gross but yeah, I don't know.

I guess it's all personal preference. I'm a woman and I don't think there's been a day since I was born that I have not worn some type of underwear. But I know many people who find it constraining and uncomfortable. (Which is one reason the thong was invented)

It's not gross it's just preference. If you feel more comfortable sleeping nude, then that's fine.

Unsanitary? Whoever said that is cracked! If anything it's cleaner. Less moisture, less funk. A few years ago I was getting acne (at age 29) as well as rashes between my legs in the summer. I showered daily, sometimes twice and it still came back. The last few summers I've gone commando almost daily in the summer and haven't had any problems. I own a lot of trekking shorts and most of them have liners (like a swimsuit) so wearing underwear is kind of difficult anyway, but I don't wear underwear with my unlined shorts either. I don't wear them with long pants either.

In winter I do wear underwear. Extra layers keeps the boys warm. When I wear a suit or wool pants I always wear boxers.

I sleep nude sometimes. It depends on my mood and how lazy I feel.
