People are only willing to pay a penny for your thoughts, however you are offering more of your knowledge than that. You get to keep a penny because people dont except all of your thoughts.

That is because when you are "putting your two cents in", you aren't only giving your thoughts, you are also giving your opinion and recomendation and that is worth another penny also ...... = )
