Why do young people not vote?

They made such a big deal about it during Vietnam, and then none of them voted. It's like they don't care. I've voted in every election since I turned 18 in 2000, but very few of my friends go. When I talk to my peers they usually don't pay attention and act as if voting doesn't matter. One friend told me as I was watching the news, "Oh, that s*** doesn't interest me."

If you ask me, it's that attitude that got us Bush for 8 years, and will get us Hillary for at least 4.

  2. Most People dont vote because they are focusing on graduating highschool and heading to college I know I am.
