Why doe McDonald shake machine go into heat mode?

I know why they go into heat lock, but not heat mode. I know it has something to do with the temprature, but can any one elaborate? thx

It probably has to defrost so the motor doesn't have to work as hard. Ice will accumulate over the vents that allow air to get to the motor, if it goes too long with out defrosting it will break

ya i HATE these things who ever invinted them must of needed repair work they brack constently anyhow it heats so you can you total drain the thing to clean it and store the remaining mix for the next day bc the storege tank isnt chilled
