  1. According to people who follow the law of attraction, bad things keep happening because you're focusing on negative things.  If you're feeling down and getting absorbed in feeling down, then you're inviting more of those types of "down" feelings into your life.  This is what the movie, "The Secret," was all about.  If you haven't seen it yet, you should.  It goes into a lot of detail on this topic.

Remember, what you focus on becomes bigger.  Do yourself a favor and start focusing on the good/positive things that are happening around you--no matter how difficult that may seem right now.  You'll find that more positive thoughts and feelings brings more positive things into your life.

  2. i dont know... it always seems to go from bad to worse to "dear god im sick of this sh*t!"

sorry im no help, i just thought i'd sympathize.

my therapist tells me to look for one positive thing a day. doesnt have to be anything catastrophic, just anything. like how much i enjoy my cat purring in my lap, or a movie that made me smile. it might sound dumb, but it has helped me a little. it gives me something to think about other then all the c**p going on, because i have to look for a bright side.

  3. self-fulfilling prophecy

  4. The things you ponder come to you. Ponder great positive things and they will come to you.  Try it--what do you have to loose besides your "downess?!"

  5. Cuz...you're not paying attention and the whole world can come crashing down and you could care less......

  6. Cause that's the way life is kick a dog when he's down; that's the way my life goes

  7. I called the suicide hot-line today, no joke, I'm not a troll or anything. I've been in pretty bad shape lately and they told me what some of these people have said. I'm looking at the world all wrong. I've been taking in all the bad and not leaving room for the good to shine through. Just think positive, and look for humor; it's really been helping me. I actually tried the youtube thing today, that site is great, and it really helps. Just keep on keeping on, and things will pass over. Talking to friends about it really helps too, just talk to them about what to do, you don't even have to tell them the bad shape you're in, just talk and ask questions. I really hope you feel better, if that was the point of this question, because I know I'm doing a lot better. Just know that there are people like you out there suffering as well. I mean, I've gotten endless letters from the DMV about one ticket, I've gone to court twice, and paid 3 times the fine for the ticket in additional bull c**p fines and late fees because they lost my check, and my girlfriend has been off at college and I haven't seen her in a month, my mother constantly yells at me, and I'm failing two classes. Now life has been quite a pain for me, but I'm feeling better, even just blowing steam right here. I sincerely hope you feel better.

  8. I know it sounds silly but how you feel and whatever energy you put out in the universe is the kind of energy you get in return. If you're in a constant state of depression, bad mood, and you expect bad things to happen, they will. I recommend going on youtube.com, type in laughing baby, watch the one with the baby with the blue bib, instant mood lifter. Surround yourself with happy people, watch a comedy, whatever it takes to lift your spirits, good luck.

  9. The only reason I can come up with is gratitude.  You need to be grateful for what you have and stop complaining even to yourself about the c**p no matter how bad it is.  Once you realize that you still have things to be grateful for then the universe or God might give you a break.

Take 2 minutes every night before going to sleep and be grateful for something, every day has at least 3 gifts.  Even something as simple as a hot cup of tea or that Tylenol that you took.

  10. I don't know but I'm ready for some positivity.
