Why does Howie Mandel do that strange goodbye thing...? Nobody know probably he oesn't either but as for the hand thing...he's the host of jeopardy, he probably knows what you do with your right hand. for most people it germier and ...maybe hes left handed...all the posiblilties

Alex lost his right hand at age 19 while working as a trapeze artist in a circus. He made a bad one handed catch and spun so hard the hand was irrepairably damaged and amputated.  He doesn't shake hands with it as most people get a shock when feeling the rubber artificial hand-so, he shakes with his left!

Is there a joke behind your question, if not, you`re very observant. I watch Jeopardy  often and never noticed the hand he uses for a handshake.
