When deployed to Iraq we would get milk that had been at room temp for weeks or months and it would still be good to drink. And taste good. I have found this in one other overseas deployment but can't remember which country I was in at the time. I have never seen this in America.

  1. The milk you drank while deployed in Iraq is most likely powdered milk. Fresh milk is whats more commonly sold in the US.

  2. You can buy regular milk in cartons at room temperature in any grocery store in America. It's by the rice milk, the permalat, etc.
