Why does Angola keep fielding Olympic basketball teams when they have no NBA players?

Is this just fun for them? I can't recall anyone from Angola ever whiffing a scent of the NBA. They always get destroyed every Olympics. Why bother?

just like everyone else getting in the olympics means pride and BANK! no matter the size of the country its pride and bank. and if they made it in they had to beat somebody to qualify. go and talk S**t about them, instead of the teams that worked to get in.

Having no NBA player on your team is not a basis that your team is full of craps. Remember Greece they have no NBA players at their team back in 2006 yet they knocked out the team full of NBA players. The reason that team lost? Same thing that made you make a question like this... Arrogance.

It's the desire and team chemistry that determines the outcome of the games.
