  1. The United States is a republic; Republics have Presidents.

    Australia is part of the Constitutional Monarchy, and therefore has a Prime Minister as head of state.

    They basically have the same responsibilities, but are elected by a the election of a greater number of seats in the Federal Parliament.


  2. It`s a constitutional monarchy and has a queen instead of a president for it`s head of state.

  3. Because we are not a republic yet... We are still under the queens monachy therefore we can't have a president... The Prime Minister is her lil lacky...
