  1. We only started migration on a large scale in the 1940's, after the second world war. Before that not many people migrated to Australia (mainly English and Irish people).

Even today, the migration numbers are pretty small.

  2. Because alot of our country is the outback and beaches...

  3. So we can go there for political asylum after u.k and usa ofcourse

  4. because of the desert inside

environement inside the continent is not suitable for living

  5. .much of the continent is uninhabitable due to deserts, mountain ranges, and jungles so that the inhabitable lands are mainly on the coasts. in addition the first attempt at colonization did not take place until 1788 A. D. when 1350 people, mostly convicts landed at Botany Bay. and it continued to be a convict colony for many years afterward so that "respectable" people didn't want to live there.

  6. a lot of uninhabitable areas

  7. In my opinion , it seems due to the livelihood of the population . The people may not to have more children  and follow family planning program. Unlike those of the third world countries such as Africa, which having more children cosidering as a richness, may not allow such achance. As aresult, the number of the people is less comparing to the land mass per square kilometers.

  8. Most of the land is unihabitable. This land is in the interior of Austalia. The Desert is very hard to live in, and I think the only major desert settlement is Alice Springs. The only places suitable for habitation is on the coast, and that is the location of the biggest cities and capital cities except Canberra.

  9. I could say: We go for quality, not quantity. I will not say that, though, as the community violation police may jump on me.
