I love the way I look after I put Bare Minerals on, but after 1 or 2 hours it comes off of m cheeks and nose and clumps on my forehead so that the only place it stays is in a circle on my forehead. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make Bare Minerals stay on the entire day??

  1. Used a foundation primer

  2. uhm.. I use it and I don't have that problem, actually I see that exact opposite for me.  i am always still surprised at the end of the day how my makeup still looks so fresh.

It could be 2 things maybe..

    1. Are you using the last step, mineral veil?  if not that is most likely the problem, or..

    2. It could be that you have very oily skin and could be the product(s) you use to clean your face before you put it on and take it off.  Make sure you do use a product to clean your face before you put on the bare minerals.  I use proactiv skin solution.  I don't have bad acne, but it is awesome for balancing out the oil and dry spots that both live on my face!

    Good luck to you:)

  3. Try a primer. I believe bareminerals has their own.

That should work. Hope I could help!

  4. i hate that!  it is not as good as it says it is.  go to www.everydayminerals.com  I just got the site today from somebody who answered my question..i just ordered the sample kit 3 foundations, 1 blush and 1 concealer for FREE, just $3.09 for shipping.  I just ordered it, so haven't tried it yet, but I am looking ofrward to it.  I am sick of Bare Minerals!!!!

  5. I use Bare Minerals and have never had that problem. Here's the routine I use:

Wash/tone face, spot treat if needed

moisturize with a light but effective moisturizer

Primer (I use Skin Rev-er Upper, but love Prime Time too!)

    Mineral Veil

    Foundation

    Radiance/Warmth/blush

    Mineral Veil

    eyeshadow

The technique I use is called the Mineral Veil Sandwich.

You could also try warming your foundation brush slightly with your hairdryer before buffing on the foundation, this helps the minerals "melt" into your skin.

Just be sure to let your moisturizer soak in all the way, and use a tissue to lightly swipe your face to make sure you've gotten rid of any excess moisturizer before you prime!
