  1. its the blue turf... thats gotta be a headache     hah

    and a trip

  2. There is no money in OU, USC, ND, OSU, or any other BCS conf school to go there. so nobody good plays there.

  3. Yes, it has to do with the blue turf, but also, not many "Big Six" teams will play a road game at Boise. I'm not saying Boise loads up on cupcake teams at home like Ohio State does. Half the home games they play each year are against conference opponents, which Boise has pretty much beat down.

They also have a pretty good team year in and year out. They fell off the radar last year by losing at Washington, but still managed to make a Bowl Game. Another thing, Bronco Stadium does not seat that many people compared to some of the bigger school's stadiums. So it is relatively easy for Boise to sell out their home games. I do believe there is even a season ticket waiting list for Boise State football. That's pretty amazing.

Blue Turf + Home Crowd + Competitive Team = A lot of home wins.

  4. ian johnsons wife the cheerleader. or the blue turf makes it colder

  5. They play in the WAC, which is the second worst conference in D1A football.  Its not too hard to rack up home wins against Idaho and Utah State.

  6. its gotta be the smurf turf!!!!!!!

  7. they win because play sub par competition, all the BCS  teams are scared to play them because they have little to gain from a win and a lot to lose from a loss, and boise state is definitly  cappable of beating BCS teams.

  8. The are good and most teams in their conference suck

  9. Boise St. has dominated their conference the past few years, and not too many conference foes win there.  Teams from BCS schools don't want to play there because they are scared that they won't win and because they don't get much money (which is a BS reason IMO).

  10. Their fans hype them up of course

  11. the only thing going on in town

    great coaching.school

  12. They are not in a very tough league, and do not draw top ranked opponents to Boise.    They do have a good program, though.

  13. Maybe their Cheerleaders have something to Do with it!  :)
